We’ve all had that mad moment of comparing products before we dive into our wallets and buy that “perfect” item. The same thing happened to me when I needed a new pair of headphones.
However something happened when it came to narrowing my choices down, I convinced myself that I need a pair released from a musical artist. In the recent past many artists have entered the headphone market and been successful with it too. Was it the name that got me interested? The fact that I would attract more attention? Or just that the headphone was actually a quality piece of kit?
I feel a combination of good advertising, style of the product, branding as well as word of mouth are the reasons why artist headphones have been so popular.
So which one did I go for?
Chambers by Rza
Manufacturer: WeSC
Weight: 184 grams
Frequency: 20-20,000 Hz
Hands free unit
Price: £149.99
Reason:
I opted for the range from popular hip-hop artist RZA, and I have to admit the name a big influence on me. However the style of the headphones were very appealing with a good colour combination. A good specification and a unique look made me spend a hefty price on this product, but I can say I am very impressed with them as the perform very well in sound quality and build quality.
